I'm watching Batman Forever (the one with the Bat Nipples and Val Kilmer). Man, this movie licks. I want to go see Batman Begins again. I guess I know what I'm buying when it comes out.

I need to buy some new DVDs. Any ideas?

Testify on Saved! That was a great movie. And I'm from Canada, so with the exchange, it's really great.

I'm a big geek fan of directors commentaries, so that's always an added bonus for me. Any suggestions on that front?

That I'm not as big on. I don't ever listen to them. i love the behind the scenes stuff, but don't do the commentary. Sorry 'bout that.

Robert Rodriguez has a series of 'Ten Minute Film School' things for El Mariachi/Desperado/Once Upon a Time in Mexico, which are pretty cool. Also a ten minute cooking school :). It's interesting to listen to him because he's obviously really involved in his films (and also makes you believe you really *could* go out and shoot a film).

Of course, the commentaries-and-extras to end all c&e are on the Lord of the Rings DVDs...
