I think I backed myself into a corner with the ending of the last chapter of MtG. There's only one way out, but then to properly track the reactions, I have to take the story on a track I didn’t want to go, namely, involving Willow. I always feel really bad at writing Willow and Xander, properly in character. But I have done what I've done, and so I must do what I must do.
I have to say, I wasn't totally sold on reviews to start with, but now I'm all over that. I'm actually getting some good ideas on which characters to mention, and then I have to ask myself why I'm not using others. In a universe with SO MANY supporting characters, it's a good thing to do.
In particular, I'm thinking about Asher in MtG. Initially, he didn't fit in to the story at all. Then he did his little cameo at the Circus, but that's it. No more Asher. And it's because there is no feasible place left to put him, with the plot as I have it planned. But that's okay, because I looked at what I was doing and that did help me figure out who was needed and who was dead weight.
I should have a MtG update by Thursday or Friday.
