Inevitable 24: Wait a Minute, Something's Wrong Here is posted.

As usual, I crave feedback, so let me know what you think. More character building, and Anita finds that things aren't as rosy as she expected. More Harry next chapter! In fact, next chapter is all Harry, all the time. Mrow.

Date: 2005-07-27 01:44 pm (UTC)I think it's good for Nathaniel to have Harry around, someone who's not on the pard power scale, and who's a good person. Nate needs more good people in his life.

Date: 2005-07-27 02:31 pm (UTC)As for Anita's psychological trauma, it's great. As a Micah fan, I was thrilled to see him turn to Anita and tell her no. I love how out of element she is but still so in character.

Now that Anita knows something is wrong, and can't get away from that fact, she'll be on the road to recovery. (It will happen during a nice JC/Anita date in a day or two, story-wise)

Date: 2005-07-28 12:49 am (UTC)I always enjoy reading the newest updates from your story Inevitable...especially this last chapter. It is always nice to read a 'turn-around' in a story...To feel with the characters a resolution, though perhaps only gradual, to the problems they were facing. I truly love how you seem to capture the essence of both the Anita Blake and Harry Potter series...Indeed, it is because I started reading Inevitable that I went to my local book store, bought and read the whole series (including that over-priced hard-back) over the course of a month. Your writing style is marvelous, subtle and captivating, decidedly less risque than Hamilton wrote her books, yet still gives me the sense of passion and snugglies that her own writing did. I cannot wait to see what you will write in the next chapter...you promise us Harry, and I do believe that we will enjoy any words that you deign to allow us to see will send your loyal readers(who are ashamed to admit that they[by this I mean I] don't review as often as they wish to) into paroxyms and convulsions of joy.
bessos y abrazos,

Date: 2005-07-28 08:52 am (UTC)Loved the interaction between Harry and Nathaniel. Sort of passive-aggressive psychology used for Good, instead of Evil :).
And, of course, I loved everything else - all very much in character. So very Richard-and-Anita *sad sigh*. And reliable Micah. All good!

Wow
Date: 2005-07-29 05:15 pm (UTC)I haven't even read Harry Potter before but you make it so that I don't have to but I understand what is going on. Truly a wonderful piece of fan fic.
Am I allowed to print it to share with others?
Thank you

Date: 2005-07-29 07:10 pm (UTC)We'll get to more Harry Potter stuff in a few chapters, and I'm sure that it'll be explained at the time.
