Fic progress

Nothing's done yet, but I'm still working on things. Here's a list.

1 - I printed off all of Any Given Tuesday in an attempt to motivate myself into finishing it. It's only two damned chapters I need to write, you'd think I'd be able to do it. Right.

2 - Inspiration struck last night for the next chapter of Letter Box. Should be done tonight. I need to rethink what I have Dawn doing.

3 - Inevitable is still chugging along. I know I'm forgetting a key point and it's making me angry. Having to re-read all 166,000 words to figure out what it is, is not an interesting prospect.

4 - I want to drabble for abvh100, but can't think of anything to do with vampires. Is it writers block or am I just crazy?

5 - I will not be writing the Firefly/Anita Blake crossover that's bopping around in my head. I will not do it. You hear that?

Don't worry, you'll remember that key point once you've moved the story irrevocably far past any place where it could be inserted subtley, and when you reach the part where your entire plot depends on it having already been established. ;)

Ummm....what happened to Switchback?

It's not that I don't enjoy your other stories, it's just that your only long, pure AB story on at the moment, and good, pure AB fic is hard to find.

Since I'm working mainly in Inevitable, I am leaving the rest of my stories be unless inspiration strikes me, as it did with Letter Box a few days ago. Part of the problem with writing Inevitable and Switchback at the same time is I start losing a handle on how to write Anita. Her motivations and everything get mixed up in my head.

So, inspiration may strike on Switchback at any time, I'm just now sure when.

I was thinking more of Mal going toe to toe with Ivanova, but your idea is more surreal. Oh, well, the concepts "Earth that was" and "Earth Alliance" can't easily be reconciled, I suppose, more's the pity.
