Letter Box Five is up at TTH.

More Dawn and Spike interaction, then some Nathaniel and Anita interaction. Writing Nathaniel is always interesting, and I think I'm going good places with it.

I hadn't actually read this story because I'm not a huge Dawn fan but the premise on this is very interesting. I did enjoy the first 5 chapters. I like what you've done with Dawn. She's very similar to what she in on the show, curious, young, and emotional. Your Spike is also good, I love that he looks out for her and seems to know just how to redirect her when she gets too emotional.

I love the direction this is going. I think one of the best parts so far has been when Nathaniel tells Anita about Dawn and they both feel something odd. I hope that you use that aspect again in the story to explain who/what Dawn is.

I'm curious about what is going on at this point, the meeting at Xander's, do you plan to have them bring back Buffy or skip over that entirely? It gives me new things to think about with Anita being a necromancer.

Aack, now I have to wait for more updates.

Thank you very much! I will be delving into the explaination of the "glitch" in Anita'a and Nathaniel's reaction.

I will be following the BtVS line, including bringing back Buffy and the whole First thing. But I'll be delving into it very briefly.

Well that's good to hear! I can't wait to see what Anita's reaction to Buffy being brought back - because I just don't think you would keep it a secret AND Anita seems to "feel" the oogie boogies and I have the feeling that Buffy doesn't feel human. Assuming of course that Anita gets to meet everyone and I think you've probably got that planned already. :)

"I don't care," Anita said. "She's the older one, she needs to be there for her sister."

Nathaniel slipped off the bed and knelt by Anita's feet. "Not everyone's as strong as you are," he said. "Not everyone can push back the pain until there is time to fall apart."

Anita looked down, at where Nathaniel's hands lay in her lap. "Yeah."

Nathaniel knew she was probably thinking of when her own mother died. He knew that, at six years old, she'd had to be the strong one when her father fell apart at her mother's death. She'd always been the strong one.



I just love that exchange. It sums up Anita's life quite nicely. :)

Yeah, she always tries to show the world how strong she is, but sometimes she's just a fragile little flower. (Which is why sometimes I think she's such a bitch to people)

hey I was just wondering if you finished the read-through of Inevitable yet? I can't wait till the next chapter, I even check Pomme de Sang and TTH every day to see if you updated. Your story is the best piece of fan fiction I've read and there is no sex in it or not any explicit sex anyway. See I believe that characters can grow and develop without sex, kind of like in your story. Oh and I loved the latest chapter of Letter Box by the way. I really like how you write Nathanial and Anita. You see I usually don't like those 2 as a couple, but in your writing they just fit together. One more thing how did Buffy die and what happened to the rest of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters (I stopped watching the show after a few seasons so im kinda lost during some parts of your stories) What is hubris?

Inevitable is coming along. I've had a bunch of stuff going on in life and I'm still running slow on this chapter. But it is coming :)

I made the concious decision in this story to not write any sex, because the main thrust of this story is Harry's coming of age, really. In my story, he's still a virgin, still sorting out the adolscent mess of sex and sexuality. He's been thrown into a mess with a sucubus and an incubus and ex-prostitutes and strippers and all that, and it's such a change from his life so far, where all he's really done is a kiss, and watching his friends snog quite a bit, that he's not sure what he needs to do.

It would also be very, very out of character for Anita or any of our supporting cast to approach Harry in that way, that I'm leaving it all alone. On the Anita POV scenes, we know she has sex. She as a character will not grow from the inclusion of a sex scene, so I'm not bothering to write them.

Thanks for your comments on Anita/Nathaniel. The way I see it, in his mind, she's everything. They are a couple. End of story. In her mind, of course, she's got JC and Richard and Micah and whoever else, along with Nathaniel, so it's a whole different way of them looking at each other, but they are still there for each other.

Let me dig around for a good synopsis site for you. It's really hard to describe.
