This couldn't possibly have been any more perfect. You captured every detail so easily that I forgot it wasn't real, that this wasn't what happened. The Anita of now fighting the Anita of then. Knowing that she has somehow lost it all and can never gain it back, at least not without going through all the heartache again. I needed a fix badly. Thank you!

*blush* thanks so much! I needed a pick me up after my day at work, and thought that writing this, um, sad chapter would get me happier. I'm odd, I know.

And second-guessing herself, knowing what she's doing with Richard is only going to hurt them both, but thinking herself weak for wanting him... she's a messed up girl. Sadly, it's not going to be getting any better soon. (Why oh why did I start these two epics, Switchback and Inevitable, at the same time??)

Switchback is deserving of some awe. And this chapter was lovely as well. I am amazed at how you keep Anita in character for the fictional situation. But where's Edward...was he even there? Has Anita's change already started to changed events so small.

Thanks! It's hard to try and keep her "Anita" in all this. There were a few rewrites of this chapter, in an attempt to make her not so crazy-go-nuts.

As for Edward... we'll see in the next chapter, won't we? Everything she does now changes things. Maybe small at first, but as the ripples of her actions reach farther, bigger and bigger changes will occur. You'll see what I mean in a bit.

Having never seen the film (due to an unreasonable hatred for Austin K), I'm not quite sure what you mean, unless you are talking about the "butterfly flapping its wings in China will start a hurricane in Hati" effect. Sufficed to say that we will soon have our hurricane.
