Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] houses7177:

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want--good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Hmm, many memories to choose from, but I think looking at beluga whales and otters in the rain comes first. Then, getting rather soaked before trotting into high-end shoe stores and trying not to drip on the leather.

Also, since you mentioned it, yummylicious indian food consumed with nummy local beer. Mmmm, beer, with Indian food. Two of my favorite things.

Oh yes, those otters in the rain. We had a similar storm today... thanfully I was in my office at the time.

Oh, I think I shall go for Indian at lunch tomorrow. It's been a while since I did that.

I just remember trying to guess at would happen in the future in some of your fics and you very nicely telling me that I would have to wait. *grins*

Was I nice or was I naughty about it? I can't remember.

I'll give you a hint. The very last word of Inevitable is "home."

Oh, I'm just being mean now

By the way: Love the icon. I looked up your icons page, and was surprised to find that the female was actually a blonde that you've brunetized. She looks much better this way. ;-)

Yes, I do like the icon. It's better bigger:

Anyway, Dennise Richards as Anita was an idea that someone on the flist had. I dug up this shot of her because of the way she was facing (next to Harry). It's amazing how different someone can look with dark hair and eyes (especially eyes).

I'll stop waxing eloquent about my graphic design skillz now :)

You patiently answering stupid questions that I should have been able to remember the answers to for me :)

Hey, I answer all questions, big and small. The secret is answering with authority so no one knows you have no idea what you're talking about ;)

I remember back when we first started getting to know each other, you randomly offered to make me an icon. An Edward icon. You've been one of my favorite people ever since. Speaking of the Edward icon, it's time to cycle it back into my icons. . . (I have way too many icons to choose from).

Smiles, Em

The smirk on your face when I finally gave in and demanded to know what your Q-tips costume was supposed to me. You have an awesome smirk and I am jealous.

Hee. You'll have to let me know when I smirk like that again so I can make a note.

He's not *that* bad, just gone from scrawny overly-thin teenage boy to not-so-scrawny... Let's just call it his growth spurt *ahem*

To let you in on the action, in the next chapter of Inevitable Harry and Jason go shopping, and Jason proves once again that he's really a 16 year old boy at heart. Ah, much Jason love.

(Incidentally, writing Jason always cheers me up. No fail.)

Seeing a mention of my name on a part of Inevitable. I couldn't believe that I'd said something that you, an author I'd been admiring for so long, would think was worth thinking about.

Hey, your feedback on that was vital! Plus your kicking my butt actually made me *post* the monstrosity.

Goodness. Has it been that long? (I'm just freaking out because I know how much longer this whole thing will go on for. At least this long again).

*quails*

:shivers: I'm trying to imagine writing something that long. I don't think I have that good an attention span. I go on tangents and my tangents go on tangents. I can't even get to a halfway point in any of the fic I've tried to write. How do you do it?

I remember reviewing for Letter Box. When are you writing more for it? I want to see Dawn and Nathaniel meet face-to-face. I can kinda imagine them being related and becoming really good friends.

I think because it's so long, and yet I know exactly how all the details will be, that it's easy to continue, because the story is no longer changing. I just need to get it all out on paper (or screen, as it were)

There will be more Letter Box at some point, it's just not at the top of the priority list right now. If I get inspired, I'll do something for it, but who knows. Never say never.

More of it, and the masses will be happy, you will be drained, and Harry will be a very busy boy.

I remember stumbling onto your stories and, after reading them, saying quite loudly in the library, 'Damn! This is good!'

Inevitable, but I've felt the same, though less vocally, about Switchback. And Mind the Gap is brill. And all those others. And not to mention the one-shots and drabbles.

And that's a beautiful icon...is is someone walking in the rain?

Yup, someone in the rain. I love the icon even more because it's got animated rain in it :)
