Boring progress update: The first half of the next Inevitable chapter is done. Mostly. I need to add a couple of mood details to it, but yeah. Next up is the harder part, and I'll need to reread sections of NiC for it. *cringes* We'll see how much I get done tomorrow. Hopefully the rest of it.

Question, in the form of a poll:

[Poll #626349]

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the only people I've ever read calling Ron 'Ronald' have been Mrs. Weasley and maybe the twins. I could be wrong though.

It's times like these that i wish I had the book on my computer, so I could just do a quick text scan. Nothing really hinges on, as Ron and Hermione won't appear for a while yet. I'm just trying to keep things all bookish and if I can avoid a movieism, I will.

to be honest I hate to admit this but I don't know. Just use it anyway I'm sure no one will hassle you about it. besides your stories are so well done I'm sure no one will notice I especially look forward to them. Thank you for writing.

You never know. There's always someone out there who'll nitpick the details. I was rewatching PoA last night and that scene where the kids are in the train compartment with Lupin and Hermione is all exasperated with Ron has stuck in my brain.

Mmm. Brains.

See how silly I am this morning?

Choice three: It's in fannon and the movie...I have no idea if it's in the books.

Choice 4: Ron is actually short for "Ronaldonia" and no one's mean enough to say that, no matter the annoyance they have for him.

I don't recall her ever using his full name in the books -- that's more a Molly-when-she's-issuing-a-Howler-at-him sort of thing -- but I don't think it'd be totally out of character for her to say it if she were toweringly pissed off at him.

Ronaldonia, out of his mother's fervent wish for her sixth child to be a girl after five rambunctious boy's. So disappointed they were that they did not change the name they had chosen in Ronaldonia's pre-natal months.

That poor, poor child.

Actually, it's obvious that Molly always wanted a girl.
Bill? Willimena.
Charlie? Charlotte.
Percy? Persephone.
Fred? Winnifred
George? Georgina.
Ron? Veronica.

It was only with Ginny that they lucked out.

They gave up and were going to call her Harvey, but at the last minute they named her after Charlie's pet puffleskin.
