Inevitable Seven is posted. And man, that was hard. I tried really hard to get the reactions down right, for the first part of the chapter. I think I suceeded. Also set up a coming angst.

No updates this weekend, I'm at a conference without the Internet. Damn.

I'd rather be at home than at this conference. It's on town, but the hotel we're being forced to stay at is three blocks from my house. I figure hey, at least I'm not being forced to pay for it. I'm so hard done by.

This was great. I agree with you about reactions. I can only speak well for the Anita Blake crew but I thought their reactions were on target. Anita would do whatever was necessary not to feed on Harry. And she'd be upset about the whole incident. Your Harry is interesting. He's getting to deal with more adult situations than he has in the books and his adaptability is very credible. You are very talented!

Thanks! I'm not entierly sure how a 17-year-old boy would react, but I figure he's such an innocent (at 15, in the last book, anyway) that his reaction would be fine.

And it's not a Mhalachai AB crossover without an ardeur emergency, is it? *eg*

I'm really glad that you're working on this, and I'm looking forward to reading it all. Only... how many chappies can I read before there is major ID spoilerism? I still haven't got that friggin book! :/

Oh. Hmm. There is stuff in this chapter that may be spoilery, especially for the relationships in ID. Next chapter should be fine, but the one after that, Nine, will be a total spoiler zone.
