Tell me the title of a story I haven't written (details optional) and I'll come up with a summary

The One that didn't quite get away.

Anita Blake/Pirates of the Caribbean crossover. Jean-Claude receives a letter from the Master of Miami, calling in a 90-year-old favor. Now, Jean-Claude has to prepare for the arrival of one of the last remaining Vampire Pirates from the Caribbean: Captain Jack Sparrow.

J-C, Richard and Micah find themselves united in their disgust over Captain Sparrow, who of course started putting the moves on Anita the moment he clapped eyes on her. However, Anita's bad-assery proved in the end to be a bit daunting for Jack, and he decided that he'd rather not spoil their beautiful friendship by trying to get her in the sack.

*giggles madly*
Vampire Captain Jack! Well he's certainly good-looking enough to fit the bill. And one has to wonder how that favour came about! Ohhhh. Jack and well, pretty much anyone in the Anita verse. Oh, now that would be fun!

Actually, I'm pretty sure Jack would turn down any offer of turning as soon as he found out that vampires are incapable of binge-drinking anything but blood, and alcohol can only be taken in small, slowly-imbibed ammounts.

Jack: "So, immortality with no curse that keeps me from enjoying either sex or rum? What's the downside."

Jack's prospective Sire: "You will not be able to maintain that lovely tan of yours, you cannot eat food, and no more rum guzzling."

Jack *runs away, screaming*: "No! Not my rum!"

This would probably be one of the greatest fics if it were to be written. Maybe a Jack/Will/Elizabeth pairing with Will being Jack's human servant and Elizabeth being a wer-fish, his animal to call. Oh, the possibilities!

(Vote for thie one!)

Wait, would a were-fish be even possible? I don't think so. I mean, I can't think of any fish with true violent tendencies--sharks don't count because it's more of a hunger reaction that sets them to actively hunting than anything truly intentionally violent--and if you were on land on the full moon, that's pretty much Instant Death. Plus, what if you were waaaay out in the ocean when the sun came up and you shifted? Heck, even being in the shallows would be dangerous because shifting is supposed to be incredibly tiring and you'd zonk out in the water and drown!

So, no, I don't think that'd work.

...Maybe some kind of sea bird, like a seagull or a pelican or albatros?
