As I was chatting with [livejournal.com profile] ranlynn, I was inspired and I thought about it and this popped out of my head. a theory on the whole Mother of All Darkness thing from the latest Anita Blake book.

As I mentioned to someone in the last post, my theory on the Mother of All Darkness/Marmie Noir connection to Anita is this:

I think Marmie Noir was originally a necromancer.

And she used her mad phat necromancy skillz to make herself into the first vampire back in the day.

Then she made all other vampires.

Then she said "kill all necromancers, fool!" so that no one could gain control of her power base.

Then she got bored and went to have a nap.

Then Anita got born, and Marmie Noir's mad phat necromancy skillz were all like "Dude, I felt a great disturbance in the Force" and she starts to wake up.

Then Anita grows up and does mad phat necromancy of her own, pulling Marmie Noir a bit more awake.

Then Anita starts banging everyone in town gains the ardeur and becomes a succubus and is more powerful and Marmie Noir's all like, "All right, I get it, I'm up!"

Then the dream thing in Danse Macabre and Marmie Noir's all like, "Damn, it's like seeing a little me, as I was millions of years ago" and she sheds a single tear.

The only question is now if Marmie Noir wants to kill Anita, corrupt her, or hand over the reigns of vampiredom.

That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

THE END

I love this theory. In fact, until LKH writes otherwise, this is what I'm picturing now. :) *g* "All right, I get it, I'm up!" I can see this.

And *blinks* hand over the reigns of vampiredom. Huh. Now there's a concept.
