We interrupt this regularly scheduled hiatus to bring you a vid rec.

It's got Stargate Atlantis, and it's a thought-provoking and serious look at the team dynamic.

It was just so brilliant. The Elizabeth as Splinter scene was where I totally lost it. I less-than-three Tori. I can't help myself.

Things are crazy-insane-busy. At least there is an end in sight, but this means I'll be working like a mad fiend tomorrow (deadline is Thursday at 2pm). It's good, though. I like the pace and the challenge.

How are things with you these days?

I'm glad I clicked on the link. I had worried that a serious and thought provoking contemplation of SGA would be lost on me, as I know SGA only through fanfic so far. Glad to see you were simply indulging in light-hearted sarcasm. Weir-as-Splinter is also where I lost it. There is some demented comic genius in that piece.

So this hiatus thing of yours (congrats on getting an interesting project with a paycheck, BTW) has led me to find truth in the Buddhist notion that desire is suffering (which is my spiritual way of saying that I'm really eager for the resumption of Inevitable (which is my polite way of saying "Gaaaahhh... dying for... updated fic")).

Parenthetically,
Crystal O. Grapher

You are adept with the sarcasm...I respect that in a person.
