Oh, Supernatual wuv. I'm four episodes into the first season, and I love it so. I have some unanswered questions of course, which I'm sure I'll get answers to soon, but yeah. *swoon*

Next up is Bloody Mary, which I may have to watch in the bright daylight. I had nightmares about that urban myth when I was in elementary school.

Oh, and I have the perfect idea for a Supernatural/Anita Blake crossover. It's going to include violence and ghosts. Love love. I'll watch the rest of the season first to make sure the idea isn't shattered by upcoming events.

A word of advice: If you're ever writing a cover letter or sending in your resume for a job, please make sure you've spelled the position title correctly plztnx. Also, please spell-check your resume before hitting "send".

They were filming Smallville at my university today and I took a picture of the sound van:

Yes, I fangirled. No, didn't see anyone. C'est la vie.

Okay, firstly -- *fangirl squee at the frickin' Luthorcorp truck!!!!*

And then...

... yeah, watch Bloody Mary during the daylight. Its one of the creepier episodes. One of my favorites, mind you, but creepy nonetheless.

So - feeling love for either of the brothers yet?

*runs off to shove another of the s1 discs into her dvd player so that she can get more Dean-adoration in before bedtime*

The Luthorcorp truck was one of those "huh?" moments. I was at the Barn, having lunch, and spotted the thing across the way. I had to go over and investigate. And such a truck :D

Check. Bloody Mary, tomorrow afternoon.

I have to say, Dean's quite the hottie. But there's something about Sam that's facinating. He's like a big teddy bear and he just needs a hug.

yup, I've got one good idea. One *really* good idea. I should be able to start on it during the weekend, after I see the rest of the season :D

if you supernatural/ab fic is shattered by later events i think you should still write it anyway. i know id be interested in reading it. ♥

and i told you that youd love supernatural! :)

I don't think it'll be too destroyed by the events of the season -- it's mostly dependant on the characters themselves. Plus Anita being all "dude, wtf".

I love Dean. And I love Sam. I can't wait to meet John in a few episodes :D

:D eee Smallville!

Yeah, Bloody Mary scared me. I watched it with the lights on, but I couldn't look in a reflective surface for a few days after that.

Smallville is so cool.

Oh man. You guys are freaking me out. Well, maybe I'll watch the show tomorrow. With all the lights on. Maybe outside in the sun.

The thing that scared me was the eyes...if anything having to do with eyes freaks you out, you should definitely watch it during the day with all the lights on.

Kewl. I always miss taking pics when they film around my dad's work. I've never been able to get close enough to meet anyone, I just hang around and watch.

No problem. I'm farther up the valley. My brother lives in Kits and my dad works in Langley, so I'm out there quite often. My dad's work is right around a bunch of the filming stuios they use, and smallville sometimes films on the farms out there. And kits is, well kits. There's always something going on out there.

My dad works as an extra and he's often driving out to Cloverdale for filming.

And heck yah, something's always happening in Kits. I used to live there, and there was always another set of cables to trip over. Fun.

Supernatural:
I finally saw an episode... season 2 premiere, actually. Now I understand the appeal. Originally I intended to watch the show, but last season I barely watched any tv.

Smallville:
Going through season 5, last few episodes... I still have to catch up with seasons 3 and some of 4. I watched the first season on dvd from the library. I watched season 2 when it aired.
Since most of what I am watching takes place on the campus... I am so happy that it's being filmed where you are.

I got someone to tape the season opener for me, but I'm waiting until I get through season 1 to watch it. I'm going to do this right, damnit.

Haven't seen Smallville since season 3, but still, it's a thrill to see the trucks on campus. I love how my campus looks during the fall.

From: [identity profile] beneficia.livejournal.com
Yeah, don't watch them out of order. There's season/series arc(s) that you really don't want to spoil, not to mention... things I won't mention. But yeah, catch up as soon as you can, 'cause you really don't want someone to accidently spoil you on really important surpises and plot twists.

Not that there necessarily are any surprises and plot twists. Or series arc(s).

*goes back to lurking*

Cool, thanks. Since I have access to all the shows, I'm not too worried about missing. It's just I heard about the eye thing in Bloody Mady and I have Issues about eye things.

I'll watch it somehow.

And thanks for popping in :D

Date: 2006-10-04 01:02 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] beneficia.livejournal.com
Yeah, I have eye thing Issues too, but if I remember right, the episode didn't actually show what happened to people's eyes. They showed blood start to run out, like in Ariel of Firefly, and then switch to another scene, but they never showed actual eyeball-implosion. Except for maybe one post-eyball-event morgue shot, but that's not the same. It also wasn't the scariest episode of the season. I think 'Asylum' and 'The Benders' rank as that season's top horror genre episodes.

Oh, and I voted for you in the Crossing Over Awards! I nominated 'An Ancient Dilemma' for 'Best Portrayal of Faith', and 'Songs Across the Ocean' for 'Malana's Bucking the Trend Award', and 'Laney's Mega Angst Award'. You should go pimp your fics (http://tthfanfic.ipbhost.com/index.php?showforum=78) :)

Oh, thanks for that. I decided to watch the ep tonight, because I have nothing else to do (ecept cook) and hey, I don't really *need* sleep. I'll keep an eye out for Asylum and the Bender. Thanks for the head's up.

Thanks so much for the nominations! That's a great idea, for fic pimpage. It might be seen as a bit outre, but then I was never accused of being shy and retiring :D I'll do it!

Oh yeah, Supernatural can get honestly 'creepy'. Very rare for a made for TV program.

Plus the Winchester brothers? Serious 'eye candy'. Yum!

What urban legend are you thinking of? Because, to my knowledge, Bloody Mary was Queen Mary I of England, Elizabeth I and Edward VI's oldest half sister. Are you thinking of Typhoid Mary?

Ahem. Anyway, I was personally completely turned off of the Smallville fandom by two things: 1) I'm too big a comic geek to buy all the half-assed bullshit the show writers threw in. Totally unbelievable. 2) Alison Mack, aka Chloe, not only went to my high school and graduated a year ahead of me, but is the younger sister of one of my big brother's friends. Trust me, you just can't suspend disbelief over certain character portrayals in fan fic when in the back of your brain you're thinking "What the Hell?! That girl is the reason I got tardy detentions, like, three times for Driver's Ed. Freshman year due to her being a lazy-ass in the morning when we were carpooling!"

So glad I didn't actually meet her until after I'd seen Camp Nowhere, otherwise I might have had a problem with that too, and I really liked that movie...
