House MD should always be filmed in Valley Girl.

Does anyone have any experience at manipulating eFiction v. 2 skins? In a related note, I'm in the middle of the horrendous project of moving all my fic into one central archive. Good God, I write a lot. It's not even funny.

Oh god those are great!

You too on the efiction thing? LoL. I'm just now working on setting my site up. However, I think you have a tad bit more stories than I do. Of course I do have almost 80 of Supernatural crossover art now... eeep...

I haven't started messing with the skins much yet. I'm going to do that after I get all my stuff added in. I'm setting mine up with efiction 3.1.1 (most current version). http://www.kaylashay.com

eFiction seemed like the easiest way to do this thing. I haven't even started on the big fandoms yet (like Buffy, Anita Blake, Supernatural, Harry Potter or Firefly) and it's taken me two days to get up the small stuff up. Yeesh. This is going to take forever :D

This is too funny for me to be watching before my cup of tea or coffee. *professes undying love for you* Thanks for posting this!
They sound like my friends and I when we were in junior high. Valley-speak was the rage, and then it morphed into Buffy-speak after high school.
(I wrote a novel back in school, like, way before Buffy ever made it to theaters, right? And, like, you know, it was about a college student who hunts vampires at night and was the total shit? But I was a total spaz and never tried to publish it. And, like, I could have had lots of money and hot boys to feed me, like, grapes and shit, only not really with the shit, you know? I'm kicking myself now.
Man, I'm so bummed. I mean, how messed up is that?

Was this an outtake reel, or was it a fan-dubbed clip? Because A)the actresses are so funny, or B) that's amazing!

It was a lovely thing, wasn't it? :D

Valley girl is a delicate dialect to master, to include the right sprinkling of "like", you know?

These clips were from the second season DVD extras, which is good because I keep going back to watch them. Funny minutes :)

It's on the second season DVDs, which I have been watching over and over... I figured that they'd be up on YouTube so I could share the love :D

I know, it's so much fun :D They both do air-head so well... It's pribably for the best that I can't watch YouTube on my computer at work, otherwise... you know how the time can be wasted.

House is so much love. The writers never stop being fun, which you can understand would lead to a large amount of fangirling from me :D

If you get the chance, you should totally buy the DVDs because 1)those are on there and 2) there's an absolutely HI-larious outtake where Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer are improv-ing a scene and they get carried away (numerous times) and HL calls JS a piece of "bum-fluff." (And it's way more funny than that sounds.) I literally fell over laughing at that one.

Nevermind on the "should buy the DVDs" thing. Looks like you already have 'em.

I think I saw the bum fluff one, in the bloopers, right? I have to go see that again. I love these guys to no end :D

It's a good job I was at home when I watched those instead of the uni library, I laughed so much. :D I may just go out and buy it now, since I already own season one.;)

I have to get a hold of season 1 on DVD. I have this compulsion to watch these shows over and over... what can I say? I'm fangirling. I guess there are worse things to do.

What do you need to change in the skins? A lot of it is html/css type changes... though some of the structural changes are in the main php.

I just basically need a clue as to where to start. I'm not familiar with the way things are set up and was just wondering if anyone had a general overview :)

Hmm... well, the eFiction forums should be of some help. There are some sample skins in the /skins directory, yes? Copy one of them that you like the general layout for into a folder of your new skin's name. The .tpl files have the layouts for the different sections - header, footer, reviews, etc - and the style sheet is often commented in the sample skin style.css, so you know what color change will do what, etc.

You can do major reconstruction in the default skin folder, and in the php files themselves, but I wouldn't do it without better laid out tutorials.
