A slow-down

After my most recent glitch with my brain dribling out my ear (and my new work schedule that is messing with my sleep schedule, pesky thing, that), I'm slowing my fics down in an effort to make them better. Rushing bad. Quality good!

Okay, enough of that. I'm contemplating writing a Dawn/Gregory ficlette, set sometime after the Christmas party with a much, shall we say, stronger rating. I dunno. What the flist's take on those adult-oriented stories? Generally speaking, of course.

Generally? Um, I'm bad with generalities. That lumps talented authors in with people who can't write their way out of a life or death situation. Let's go with: in your case? Certainly. I think you'd do a smashing Dawn/Gregory. I'm all for it!

Yeah. I'm hesitant to write someting like that mostly because it'd be a pwp, and my brain screams that everything I write must contain plot. I think it stems from writing drabbles: Plot in 100 words!

But it'd be so much fun, especially knowing what I'm going to be putting Dawn and Gregory through in Candlelight.

Then again, the Buffy and Rafael relationship in Candlelight will be getting more screentime, so it's all a ramp up to a higher rating, anyway.
