If there's anything you've been dying to ask a character from my fic, ask away - and the character will answer. The question can be related to the fic, character's backstory, life in general, how they get the caramel into the caramilk bar, whatever. Keep in mind that if you're asking a question about the future or something as yet unknown, only characters with a psychic sort of bent will be able to answer.

What? Oh, fuck. I thought about that, you know, back when Katie and Andy both had the flu and I had to take care of Tegan, when she was just a few months old. I mean, I tried to think about it. But Tegan only weighed fourteen pounds. The weight of two guns. And she was all pink and squirmy and she couldn't roll over. She didn't even have any teeth.

It was one thing to read about it, back in college. The Slayers. Then I met Enid, but she was fourteen years old and had been slaying for months. I tried to picture Tegan killing vampires, but all I could think of were vampires tearing her baby throat out.

It worries me, how much like Anita I see Tegan becoming. Not the dark hair, not the shortness. It's the stubbornness. That streak that lets Anita point a shotgun at a vampire she knows and pull the trigger... I'm starting to see it in Tegan.

I don’t think anything else has scared me as much as that realization.
