Leave me alone, it's all I have.
They changed the Dr. Who themesong music? Cool. I like it.
10 episode points for Doctor Who 4x01 (Partners in Crime)
1. Firstly, David Tennant's hair is amazing. It's like a character all on its own.
2. This opening back and forth between the Doctor and Donna, missing each other, is fun. And well timed. I like physical comedy like this.
3. I really like Donna in this one. She's less of caricature this time around, mellowed. But awesome. Awesome in that she was doing "save the world" stuff before the Doctor found her, not just hanging out. Of course, I like Catherine Tate so that helps.
4. Oh good, someone's dangling from a metal cable. Just like old times.
5. Dueling sonic screwdrivers. Awesome.
5a. Exploding sonic screwdrivers. Awesome.
6. Ha, I like how Donna just invited herself along.
6a. And saves the day!
7. You'd think that London was used to spaceships hovering over the city now.
8. As a first outing goes, I liked it. But o Doctor.
9. WTF disappearing Rose?
10. No, seriously, WTF disappearing Rose??

*Want reunion now. With hugs.* Doctor needs his Rose. Rose needs her Doctor. RTD, you bastard.

Date: 2008-04-06 01:58 pm (UTC)I was searching/waiting for streaming episode as well, and ended up being spoiled on youtube for the Unexpected!Rose! scene. *pouts* But I found a site that just does whole episodes of TV shows, and had the ep up within a few hours after it aired, so hopefully I can restrain from looking at my flist next week before they put up the ep.
Donna FTW! He needs a friend (one who's not pining/lusting after him and who understands about Rose) and she is just perfect.

Date: 2008-04-06 03:23 pm (UTC)However, I was overjoyed by Donna 'No mating!!!' *chortles* I think she is exactly what the Dr needs.
Rose appearing was FANTASTIC!!! Just a bit to tease us all - what is going on there... is she stuck between the two dimensions because she never really existed in the other one? I agree she didn't look well at all - sad, lonely and in need of Dr and Jack cuddles.
I'm sure we won't find out whats going on for another 13 weeks but it should be very interesting :D

Date: 2008-04-06 06:52 pm (UTC)Took me completely by surprise, I have to admit. It's been a while since a tv show has managed to do that.
Donna was a lot better in this ep too ~ I liked that she'd been out investigating after she met the Doctor. And her mum's "it's not the 1980s" jibe at her not having a job.
