My favorite awards (Crossing Over Awards) from my favorite fanfic archive (Twisting the Hellmouth) are up for 2008!

And lo, I have been nominated for some awards!

(It may not surprise you to learn that most are for non-BtVS crossovers, which possibly defeats the purpose of the awards but that's how we roll)

Ma OM NOM NOMS (in no order):
PS in order to vote you need to be an existing TTH member. Which is free! And no sales person will call. So register now for next year!

Best Portrayal of Other Characters (Riley Finn)
In the Key of Major Finn
(BtVS/GG)
Years later, Lorelai liked to start the story like this: One sunny summer Connecticut day, Adonis walked into the Dragonfly Inn.

It didn't seem fair, how much work at the SGC was just like life on the Hellmouth.

Vote now!

Jack knows better than to trust little girls in haunted houses. Honest.

Vote now!

Ianto Jones is a very different sort of boy.

Vote now!

Best non-BtVS/AtS Crossover

Ziva's new assignment certainly isn't what she expected.

Vote now!

Best non-BtVS/AtS Crossover

Vote now!

Thank you all so much for that lovely nominations! the best part about writing fanfic on livejournal is the community and the back-and-forth on writing. I love each and every one of you :)

So please go browse all the lovely nominees at the COA awards and vote for your favourite story/writer. And if you vote for me, I will give you hugs and squishes*

You mean I have to choose between Agent Afloat Atlantis and Songs Across the Ocean? Oh, that is so not fair!

Give your love to the newer of the stories. People have given Songs so much attention, Agent Afloat needs to make up the difference.

Actually, the reason I accepted both noms for the same category is that I love each of those stories. SGA tends to give voice to the most delicious of crossovers.

*goes off to change vote* Yes, I voted for "Songs", because I've loved that story from the first time I read it, even though I'm not much of a Potter fan (I've read the first 6 books, don't plan to bother with 7).

Yes, I love Stargate crossovers more than pretty much any other, though Buffy comes in at a very close second. And I'm very partial to NCIS/Stargate crossovers! There just aren't enough of those out there for my liking.
