Letter Box 2

Letter Box part two is posted. More Dawn stuff. We get the Nathaniel connection in the next chapter. I like writing Dawn. She's so messed up, poor little year old kid.

I may be slow in updating this week. I'm trying to mix my life up. But I'll still be on LJ all day.

Aww, Dawn's cute. I almost never read Dawn fic, I know I had a reason for that, but I don't remember it now. And Tara! I love Tara, but being rather anti-Willow, I don't get to read much of her.

This fic makes me happy. I really liked Obituary, and I'm glad you're writing a sequelish story.

Thanks! The idea came to me out of the blue, only at first it was, "what if Joyce kept Nathaniel's letters and Buffy found them?" but then I'm like, I'm bad at writing Buffy. And I like Dawn... and hey! Dawn and Nate are both the misunderstood ones, shy and unassuming until you realize that they're plotting your doom.

And then the realization that I could do all this during the summer of Buffy's utter deadness... all good parts of my plan :)

I'm just a lurker but I had to comment. I usually can't stand Dawn (never got into her in the series) and never read Dawn-centric fics, but I read yours and enjoy them very much.

As for being bad at writing Buffy - you are so wrong. Candlelight is listed as a favorite of mine at TTH. You are doing a fabulous job at writing her in it.

You are aware of how amusing that statement is to those of us who may update once in a month? You may be slow updating this week . . ::snort:: . . y'know, if you're updating on a more-than-weekly basis? Not slow.

And I'm still liking 'Letterbox' - can't wait for some Dawn/Nathaniel interaction.

Just the other day I was re-reading Obituary and wondering what could have happened! :)

Love the continuation. I can't wait to see what will happen when Dawn meets the AB crew, especially Nathaniel. Loads of fun to be had there!
