No, not a HBP post. I've read it and have no comment at this time.

No, this is about my Creative Zen 5gb mp3 player. All I can say it, thank god it's under warranty. The headphone jack is starting to lose channels, and it's not the headphones. This is a common problem with the player, I find out *now*. I did not buy the extended warranty from Future Shop because they are useless with the one-piece mp3 players. They break, and Future Shop says you did it can't fix so sad.

But my machine's got a 1-year warranty from Creative itself. I got it back in the beginning of January of this year. I hope I can just exchange it at the store and don't have to ship it off to where the hell ever.

PO.

Also, I suspect I'm getting a cold.

ETA: I'm using my So!Angry!Harry! icon a lot. I think I need another.

I have a 20 gig Creative player, and after I had it for about a year and a half (way after warranty was out) it died, and I shipped it back to creative. I paid them about 50 bucks, and they sent me a new one. Chck their web site - you have to pay hem $20 to look at it, and then maybe more for a new part or whatever, but it beat buying a new player.

(BTW, I'm a fan of you writing, hello. Wasn't HBP awesome? Still reeling.)

The Future Shop around here (not sure if they have them where you hail from :) has a half-and-half return policy. Sometimes great, sometimes sucky. If this is a common problem, they may be able to help me figure out what to do before I need to ship it off. If I can get it dealt with at the store, yay for me.

And thanks about the writing. After I read HBP (this morning) I was braindead for a while. I was like, Guh? InevitableOMG? But I'm going AU. Because I need *ahem* certain characters. And yeah, I'm still reeling.

Is that a snitch in your icon?

I think most people with WsIP will be going AU, not trying to retrofit; pre- and post-HBP canons are just so, um, different. ;)

And yes, it's a photo I took of my beanbag-snitch.

Different. That's the word :P

My biggest thing is that the world I'm planning is just... lighter than the HBP world. And after HBP, I need light.

I think in a way, I was more upset with Sirius's death, because I wasn't expecting it. I think I was expecting this in a way.

Anyway. I think in a few days I will have digested the book and be ready to write Inevitable again.

By the sounds of this I've been pretty lucky. I've dropped my 30 gb creative model on the concrete *3 times* in the last year and it is still going strong. I am on to my thrid pair of head phones though. As these normally cost a whopping $5 over e bay I can't complain too loudly.
