Inevitable 23: The Parts Of Me I Cannot Hide is posted.

At TTH
(and if TTH is broken:)
At Pomme de Sang
At Skyehawke

As usual, I crave feedback, so let me know what you think. This is a character-building piece, and I like how Micah's developing.

aww, it's Anita being almost sane. Nice.

I really like the scene between Micah and Harry and the one between Micah and Anita and the one with the spell although that's more just cause it had all those other people I like. And have I mentioned that I like you Nathniel, cause I do.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to go through the whole fic and give you an in-depth review, but for now I'll just tell you how brilliant you are kay ;)

Thanks! I enjoyed this chapter a lot, because of all the characters I got to write. And even though it's 10 pages, it just zips by to read...

Yay, that was a lovely chapter. I'm so glad for a little calm in the storm (and I'm sure you have some more storm for us with the ominous talk about Harry at the end). Nathaniel and Anita fixing their bond and Micah sorting things out with Harry felt so good after so much conflict. You pulled it out nicely as well, taking everything step by step - very much as I imagine Anita would have handled things in the books.

The picnic was just too cute. Loved it.

Can't wait to see what's going on with Harry.

Well, I couldn't have the chapter ending on a high note :P The next couple of chapters are really Anita (and how she's not *quite* right), but when we get into Harry more. With a special guest star.

This was such a sweet chapter. I really liked Anita calming down and Micah and Nathaniel and the pard helping her to ease back into reality. I love the ending. As Beren says, ominous, in a delightfully exciting sort of way.

Thanks! It just seemed like the logical way for Anita to act, you know? Wanting to help Nathaniel, poking at Micah, even when she knows she should leave well enough alone. I got the idea of the parallels between Micah and Harry's entrances into Anita's life, the other night, and simple *had* to put it in :)

I love waking up and having a chapter first thing in the morning. It gets me so ready for the day. I think to myself, hey, Anita had trouble just getting out of bed. I don't feel as bad as she does, so I *guess* I can go to work.

Of course, she woke up next to two men...

Jealous? Me?

It was a great chapter. I'm going to take a running leap of faith and say that it's the calm before the storm.

But it was a very "Making Nathanial Happy" calm before the storm. Which is the best kind.

I'm not saying a word :) Thanks for your kind words.

As ever, Harry is the conundrum, in't he? Is he or isn't he a lycanthrope, and if he's not, what is he? And as to the pointing thingyamajiggy...Damian would be dead during the day right, so maybe Harry should try again in the night time.

No one's ever quite sure what to make of our dear Harry.

Thanks for reading :)

See, at the end of that chapter, that's where we cue the ominious music about Harry not staring at the blood. *gives in to the monty python drums from Holy Grail movie* Dundundundundun!

It's too bad I can't build in a soundtrack to the story. *That* would be neat.

I really like how Micah turning out. He seems a lot more...mature, I guess??? And I like how Anita has finally begun to realize that Nathaniel needs to be around her. I like the fic overall. *grins*

I'm never sure how old Micah is... is he older than Anita? Younger? I figure that because of Chimera, he has had to act older than his years. Yeah, that's it.

As for Nathaniel, it's only taken her how many years to understand that Nathaniel really does need someone in his life to be in control? That's really the one thing I wanted to shake Anita about in the books. Grr.

So I write it the way I like :P

*grins* I think Micah might be about Anita's age. She's actually kind of young anyway; she's not even in her thirties yet.
Yeah, I agree about wanting to shake her in concern of Nathaniel. He needs someone to be in control of his life and Anita loves to be in control. She should just embrace him the way he is.
I like how you write it! *waves*

It's funny how Anita loves to be in control, but with the one person who wants her to run his life, she can't handle it. The girl's got issues :)

It's not creepy, trust me. Creepy would be, "I'm watching you read this post *right now*" :P

Thank you for your kind words about the story. I'm a real stickler for characterization, and I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what the characters would do. I've had to discard a couple of plot threads because the characters would just not do those things. But I digress.

Thanks for stopping by :)

The parallels between Micah and Harry took me by complete surprise. A pleasant surprise, though - I love it when that sort of resonance is just there and I hadn't even realised it.

And the mystery of Harry continues. There was *something* for Jean-Claude to call, but I'm guessing that's by no means a guarantee of full-on lycanthropy at the end of the month, huh?

The paralleles between Harry and Micah came as a bit of a surprise to me, too. I was at work, not wanting to think about work, and bam, it hit me.

I'm not complaining, though ;)

And I have no comment on Harry at this time.
