What's your favorite kind of hot beverage in this weather?

Date: 2005-10-13 12:37 pm (UTC)My favourite hot drink in this weather is not to have a hot drink (it's almost summer, and the temperature's rising); though I do like tea. A nice tisane of lemon and honey :)

Do you have any tea in there, or is it just lemon juice and honey? I do that when I'm sick and wanting the vitamin C infusion.

Date: 2005-10-14 06:39 am (UTC)No actual tea in the lemon-honey thing. I recently learned that tealess tes are called tisanes; it's such a pretty word, people should use it more often!
I've also had some absolutely gorgeous jasmine "tea" made from rolled-up jasmine flowers.
I tend to drink tea at home, but if I'm out, coffee. Real hot chocolate, too.
(sorry if I haven't left any comments for your recent fic updates - been a bit out of it with uni work. But I loved them all, especially the new Switchback chapter)

Date: 2005-10-14 02:38 pm (UTC)I totally understand about the lack of time to comment on things. Sometimes, I read fics and love them so much, but can't find any words that make sense other than "Yay! Loved it! Whee!" so I remain silent :)
