Anita dropped her chopsticks. "What did you say, Zane?"

Zane smirked at his Nimir-Ra over his Chinese takeout. "That's what you're suppose to do with your fortune cookie fortune," he explained. "Just add 'in bed' to the end of it. Cherry, what do you have?"

"A loved one is of utmost importance... in bed."

"How about you, Nathaniel?"

"Use proven methods, avoid shortcuts... in bed"

Anita carefully cracked open her cookie, took one look at her fortune, and groaned.

"What does it say?"

"You will impress everyone you know... in bed."

*giggles* I don't know which is funnier. Anita actually dropping her chopsticks at the start, or her fortune at the end. I was trying to think of why she dropped her chopsticks, because I couldn't think of her as being surprised by anything the pard say about sex, no matter the time. My reasons got funnier every time by imagining characters she hasn't slept with doing something with her related to Zane's fortune, and then adding 'in bed' at the end of course.

Now I have this image of Edward and Anita stripping a weapon... in bed - although I wonder if that would mean they are stripping each other.. *snicker* I won't even mention the ones I came up with about the cops. *rofl*

Though I wouldn't recommend doing this at an office party! (I watched in fascinated horror as the Permanently Thirteen-Year-Old Clerk who was crushing inappropriately on my then-boss tried it on all the older male supervisors one day. She thought she was being seductive, but she was merely being stupid.)

The best part of LJ, in my mind (besides icons -- I lurve icons), is one's friend's page. One can keep an eye on so many things, and even if not everyone friends you back, you can still watch their stuff (or lurk, as it were :P)

Oh yeah. I get an email everytime it's updated :)

My big project right now is a fic for my beta for Christmas. We each made a 'wish' and the other is granting it in the form of a short fic by 12/25. It's pretty fun actually. I've never written anything that's not a crossover before and I'm writing a Harry Potter fic for her. Kinda nervous about it actually but it's gonna be fun . . .
