I loved it!!! Now, should Harry mention someone can go insane from that curse and will he get a big old guild trip and try and run away. XD

Oh, I noticed this on one of the lines...just one mis-spelled word, I'm not sure if yer gonna change it or not, but I thought you should be aware.

"You take Jason and Jamil, having Shang-Day drive," Richard said distractedly as he tried to shift Anita's weight in his arms. "Graham will drive me and Anita and Harry."

You've left us some things to think about - how did Harry stop the curse? And what will the longer-term effects be on Anita, and Nathaniel and Damien? Will the American Ministry of Magic notice the use of an Unforgivable and investigate?
Very much looking forward to the next chapter (after Candlelight and Mind the Gap, of course).

All of these things will be addressed (eventually). But I can say that, as with all my writing, I am attempting to use a canon explaination for Harry's magical reactions (which I hear is better than a cannon explaination).

I liked this one better than 12, which was cruelly excellent. I thought this had some great emotion. I think Harry, when he has a chance to think about it, will realize that he came through this stronger than when he started. That while he isn't quite Bellatrix's equal yet, he's well on his way. Training will only make him better and if he is a werewolf, it will only add a dimension that the Death Eaters weren't prepared for. Well done. And thanks!

Chapter 12 was just action, this was the reaction chapter. And with everything that's going on, Harry's emotions are crazy. After all, being a teenage boy is hard enough without having crazy people trying to kill you.

Fanfreakingtastic! My only complaint? Too short! *eg* Very well done, though. I envy your ability to write Harry so in character. He's not my #1 favourite in that fandom so I usually have to expend a lot of effort to write him believably.

I must commend you on your Richard. In the books, I loathe his pathetic and whingy arse, and that's putting it nicely. (I understand he hates being a werewolf, but he had his time to cry and be all Angel about himself, now he needs to move on and bloody well adapt! Everyone has problems, sheez.) However, Inevitable's Richard I confess I now harbour a grudging respect and even affability towards. ;)

Anyway, I enjoyed the chapter and am looking forward to Candlelight with great anticipation!

Not at all. I'm afraid that ever since discovering Lori Summers' The Paradigm of Uncertainty and its sequels aeons ago, I've become rather partial to the über long ones. Of course, length doesn't guarantee quality, so I really only have a select few authors I read in my (annoyingly small) spare time - Lori Summers, JL Matthews, you and Lady Alchymia, to name a few.

Doesn't mean I don't enjoy the "short n' sweet" route, but the epics really get my blood going. What can I say? It's a blessing or a curse, depending on how you look at it. Honestly? I consider it a blessing. ;)

Length is good, very good! Who cares how long it takes you to finish it? By taking a long time, IMO, means you care about it and how it turns out.

(OT, "C'est la vie" is my favourite pet phrase.)
