Three dollars and some change

Results Round I of Round IV of Summaries for Dummaries! There are still some other prompts I'm working on, so fret not.

This time is a bit different because I expanded on some of these, into scenes from a story I'm not going to write, as well as a few ficlettes. There's also one other one where I ended up writing over 3,000 words of SG1/Glee Kurt fic and have hit a wall, but hopefully I can rescue that one (I believe in me).

Setting/Spoilers: Set in the summer after the end of season 3 for Bones and season 2 of Torchwood. Epic spoilers for all the revelations therein. This may have been jossed by Bones season four but I haven't seen that yet so who knows? Well, um, I'm sure you do... hey, onto fic.

Notes: I started working on this over the summer. Consider this my big (have you seen that word count?) foray into the world of Bones. There's more stuff that should go into the notes about the wheres and the whys of this story, but that would ruin the story so I'll just say: Enjoy :)

Sometimes, when I'm in the middle of a very long fic (NCIS/SGA at 32,000 words 4srsktnx), I like to try a little writing exercise. Today's exercise is a set of ascending drabbles (100 words, then 200 words, etc.) on a character I've never ficced before. Results are:
