You guys are so awesome. Thanks for the lovely prompts!
I think I used the Action History. Now [present]... Exclamation mark! format in 80% of these. Whatev.
Some notes: Some of these made me imagine the whole fic, which is totally awesome and really inspiring. You guys have some amazing ideas! If you don't see your prompt here, I'm still working on it :). The summaries have some notes at the end in parentheses.
And with no further ado, the summaries!
mary_greenman Prompt: Anita Blake/NCIS Guns, Lies and Wolves - Ziva-centered
Years ago, Ziva David was on the trail of the murderous panwere, Chimera. When rumour came across the ocean that Chimera had met his fate at the hands of the necromancer Anita Blake, Ziva was reassigned to Eastern Europe. But she could never forgot that mission.
Now, as rumours of another panwere are whispered in the darkness of DC, Ziva travels to St. Louis to find out what really happened those long years ago, and just what has become of the many lycanthropes Chimera held to him, for better or for worse.
And what is becoming of the necromancer, Anita Blake.
(eventual Ziva/Rafael)
firefox1490 Prompt: Anita Blake/Hawaii 5-0, Untitled
I do not judge. I merely obey.
Title: Descendent
The 5-0 team is pulled into the dark side of Hawaii's night life, when local werecats start turning up dead, drained of blood and missing their eyes and tongues. The vampire community isn't talking to the cops, so McGarrett mixes things up by taking the team to the hotspot of vampire activity on the island, Club Po'ele'ele.
What the team wasn't expecting was a visitor from the mainland, St. Louis's very own Anita Blake, federal marshal, zombie raiser, rumored vampire servant... and the former fiancée of Danny's best friend.
With time running out and the bodies piling up, there is only one place left to turn: the most powerful vampire on the island, a master vampire older than some of the islands themselves.
A vampire many on the island, including Kono and Chin, know simply as... Ancestor.
(If I were writing this story, Anita would be on the island for some serious vampire bizness, and after a few days of Anita Blake, the vamps would be pretty happy to lob her off onto law enforcement for a little while. And she'd help 5-0 solve the mystery. And Kono would be sort of freaked that the Master is taking such an interest in her (er, Kono, that is, not Anita). And Chin Will Not Talk About the first time he met the Master, at some sort of family initiation ceremony. And Danny will be fascinated by this whole zombie thing and kinda into Anita, but he'll try to hide it. And McGarrett would just be confused.
You know. If I were writing this for reals >_>)
viridian_magpie Prompt: White Collar/Doctor Who - "It's a Police Box"
"Neal. What's that?"
"It's a police box, Peter."
"I can see that. Why is it on June's balcony?"
With the arrival of a strange blue box, Neal's life is turned upside down. What does the strange Doctor mean when he says he's looking for the "son of an immortal Captain"? Why is Peter acting so twitchy? When art starts dissolving from history, right before their eyes, it's up to Neal and the Doctor to find out what's going on before all of Earth's art is gone - forever!
viridian_magpie Prompt: Criminal Minds/NCIS - "Girls Night Out"
(Set last year sometime. Because, well, "Lauren")
What started as a law enforcement conference ends with Ziva David running for her life from her most deadly adversary. With the entire NCIS team in danger, Ziva turns to the only person in DC she can trust: her old Interpol colleague, Emily Prentiss.
neongraal Prompt: NCIS / Glee "Goth in their Eyes"
A simple Dalton Academy civics class field trip to DC lands Kurt in hot water with NCIS, after he witnesses the murder of a navy petty officer in the hotel parking lot. With the NCIS team busy hunting for a killer, the only person with any time to protect the young Warbler is the forensic lab tech, Abby Sciuto. And when the violence suddenly strikes in the lab itself, it's up to Kurt and Abby to outsmart a killer!
(which is really only the lead in to)
the sequel: Songbird in the City
Following the events in Goth in their Eyes, Kurt Hummel apples for a summer internship in the NCIS criminal investigative lab, under the tutorship of one Abby Sciuto. Follow our fine feathered friend as he becomes acquainted with the ins and outs of forensic criminal investigation, how to observe an autopsy without vomiting on one's stylish shoes, and how to respond to the demands of Jethro Gibbs without wetting one's pants in fear. By the end of the summer, Kurt will have to decide what he wants to do with his life, beyond Dalton, beyond Ohio and beyond Glee.
(in this little world, Kurt gets a scholarship to Georgetown U to study criminology and chemistry (engineered by Abby, who doesn't want to let her new toy go) and eventually graduates, to be the fabulous Palmer to Abby's Ducky.)
(That sentence made sense in my head)
shimaspawn Prompt: Highlander/Glee - The Song Goes On
April, 2011. With Mr. Shuster out sick with lyme disease and only one month to go before Nationals, New Directions finds themselves saddled with a grumpy, cynical, bastard of a substitute teacher, Mr. Adam Dawson. But instead of helping them write new songs and get ready for the biggest competition of their lives, he makes them learn the classics! and not Zeppelin either, but Bach! Handel! Mozart!
How can those old songs possibly help New Directions win at Nationals? Will Mr. Shue ever come back? And why is Coach Sylvester suddenly carrying a big sword everywhere?
(Adam Dawson = Methos, yes)
lillian13 Prompt: Hawaii 5-0, Rainy Days and Mondays
Five people. A university field trip. Only four returned alive.
Kono's hidden past catches up with her when a former classmate shows up in 5-0's interrogation room as a murder suspect. Only he's not there by accident. Now, the entire team is in danger from one man's twisted idea of revenge!
(because Grace Park is 37 and looks 20 and is quite possibly some sort of cyborg. Her character needs hidden drama in her life)
tygermama Prompt: SGA/Criminal Minds: How John Sheppard Accidentally Fell In Love With Penelope Garcia
It started in Georgetown...
You know what? No. I'm writing this sucker out WHOLE. Because the idea is awesome.
tygermama Prompt: Gilmore Girls/White Collar: Road To New York
Rory Gilmore never expected to see her long-lost cousin's picture as one of New York's most wanted last summer. Now, she's determined to find out how Aaron Gilmore became Neal Caffrey, and how he started on the road to New York...
lita_of_jupiter Prompt: "Death visits the Circus" - Anita Blake / Highlander - Methos, Edward and Belle Morte
Edward is out to track down the only other man in American who can lay claim to the name Death, a man rumored to be older than the oldest vampire. A man who was once husband to the vampire Belle Morte.
All Methos wanted was a quiet summer in St. Louis, but with things heating up (or cooling down, depending on the vampire), he's on a timeline to get out of town before he loses his head. Or before the Ex comes to visit....
mary_greenman Prompt: NCIS/Harry Potter - Pass the Secret Keeper - (Ginny/Tony)
Salem.
Black cats.
Female sailors being burned at the stake.
Three navy officers are found dead in Boston over the course of the week, and the only clues the NCIS team have point directly to a young redhead with a British accent and, as Tony finds out, a wicked right hook. Either she knows more than she's saying, or she's the one responsible. But as time runs out to the next murder and the young woman insists upon her innocence, Tony finds himself being pulled closer to the murder suspect!
websandwhiskers Prompt: Anita Blake/NCIS, Abby-centric, "...And That's What I Did On My Summer Vacation"
I'm gonna subtitle this one, "The Family Business"
After the death of her mother, Abby returns to New Orleans to take her mother's place in the family business: head vaudun priestess of her clan. But times have changed, and in America post-Katrina, that involves taking a trip to St. Louis to meet the competition: Anita Blake.
past Abby Sciuto/John Burke, brief (and disastrous) Abby/Richard. Ends with Jason following Abby back to DC and Abby asking Gibbs if they can keep him.
(What? She sleeps in a coffin and is awesome)
kira_snugz Prompt: the plural of octopus - Hawaii 5-0
Getting stuck in an underwater submarine leaves Kono and Danny with little to do but swap war stories while they wait for help. As the day wears on, Danny finally learns about the defining moment when Kono decided to join the police force, and Kono begins to understand why this gruff New Jersey cop would travel across continents to be near his family.
But then accident turns to intention, leaving Danny and Kono to battle an underwater madman for their lives!
(come on, there had to be come wacky action in there. It's 5-0)
fufumira Prompt: Cat and Mouse - White Collar/Pretender
They called him the Ghost. Some say he's an angel. Some say, the devil. A modern day Robin Hood, seeking street justice on those who would steal from the poor, hurt the innocent, oppress the weak. Folks in the game say he was the one who brought down Wall Street. Some say he came out of nowhere in the nineties, dropping into the streets like an avenging angel.
Very few people meet the Ghost and live to tell the tale... or so they say. The man sometimes called Mozzie is one of those few, having at one time (maybe) helped the Ghost (allegedly) rip apart a human trafficking ring over the bridge. The man called Mozzie may also know (or not know) the name of the Ghost, and what sorts of things haunt people that don't really exist.
Now the Ghost is back, and he's running. It's up to Peter Burke and Neal Caffrey to find him before he's caught by those who would bury him forever - the Centre!
(Because if anyone would work well with a guy like Jarod, it's Moz.)
deepfishy Prompt: Criminal Minds/White Collar - Confidence
A white collar criminal has crossed the line from embezzlement to slaughter. Now, the BAU heads to New York to profile a man rumored to have escaped the unsub's clutches. But, unbeknownst to the man's handler, Special Agent Peter Burke, there are many in the Bureau who wouldn't mind if Neal Caffrey took the fall for the murders!
deepfishy Prompt: Stargate Atlantis/Hawaii 5-O/NCIS - Jurisdiction
Jethro Gibbs and Steve McGarrett go head to head to find the man who executed Marine Captain Stubbs in cold blood. Meanwhile, newly promoted Colonel John Sheppard has less than 24 hours to find Stubbs' killer and to clear his name, before another murder can occur - his own!
First lines:
"All John Sheppard wanted to do was surf. After seven years on Atlantis, was one week of vacation too much to ask?
Apparently, yes."
rosefyre Prompt: Pandemic! - any fandom
(SG1/Bones)
The Jeffersonian team sets to work on a strange sarcophagus unearthed from the deserts in Southern Egypt. Now, as a strange illness sweeps the Jeffersonian and all of DC, the city's only hope may be an disgraced Egyptologist, Dr. Daniel Jackson, and his Air Force handler, General Jack O'Neill. But will the classified history between Booth and O'Neill tear the team apart before they can find a cure to this plague?
(no, not Booth/O'Neill. I'm envisioning Booth vs. O'Neill: Fight)
periskyye Prompt: Personality Traits - Pretender/Criminal Minds
How do you profile a man who can be everybody?
With a serial killer on the loose who fits no profile, obeys no boundaries, the BAU is in a race against time to find the Chameleon, a killer who is no one and everyone at once. As Spencer Reid digs into the few clues they have, he's drawn into the history of a mysterious private company known as the Centre, and of the only man ever to escape their clutches.... a man called Jarod.
sister_snape Prompt: In Darkness: HP/Criminal Minds
Before he was Special Agent Hotchner, before he was Haley's husband and Jack's father, Aaron was a very different person indeed. He never told Haley about his birth in England to one of oldest families, to his family's downfall in a hidden war, and of his mother's escape across the ocean with her embarrassment of a squib child. When he was... Aaron Black.
I think I used the Action History. Now [present]... Exclamation mark! format in 80% of these. Whatev.
